paracusia EP chiu longina

Paracusia is a work published for the French netlabel "Acrylik." Has been recorded in the year 2002 and recaptured at the end of 2004. 5 tracks of audio+1 remix. It has been made up with Reaktor patches and field recordings. In the recent alteration Soundscapes of the Loch Lomond (in Scotland) has been added and other recordings of the Atlantic coast of Galicia, in the northwest of Spain. A saturated sound has been looked for and of really low quality to emphasize the darkness of the sound speech criticizing with subtlety the colateral goods of the consumption of design drugs. The "ecstasy" opens doors in the mind that alone some few ones close again. This work enters for those open doors.

Picnic_sounds es la cara sonora del proyecto "Perfect Pitch" de Longina, una crítica al nuevo vistuosismo representado por los genios en escritura de código. Es una versión de las Sequenzas de Luciano Berio aplicadas a la laptop-music. La grabación es el resultado del primer encuentro de este proyecto, en este caso entre MINÚSCULO y LONGINA.

lobos_longina

"Lobos" are the soundtrack for the theatrical show "Lob@s" of the poet Antón Lopo. These sounds have been recorded in the year 1999 and the work opened in 2000 in the "Sala Galán" of Santiago of Compostela. The work passed to the local "La Cuarta Pared" of Madrid and it was closed in S. De Compostela, Spain. Antón Lopo is a Galician poet, director of the magazine "RDL, Revista Das Letras, Galicia-Hoxe" and member of the collective "Letras Escarlata", in Galicia.
